A fun week!

Monday I went with Jenn to our Local Distributor and received technique base class on the Tattered Angels Products! Loved it!!!!!!

Thanks Tina for the pictures and it was really great meeting you!!!!

Wendy and Liz from Tattered Angel came down to give us all the tips, tricks and fun techniques to use the fabulous products. WOW! wow wow so fun much fun in a few hours! I see in the future.... potentially a class!

Here's a layout from Navcan that finally I completed yesterday, it just needed the bottom title! When we went to the Sugar Bush in March, Stephane was not totally in a full Kodak moment and a few of the pics he didn't have a full smile on and when I saw this picture I automatically thought of "Opposites Attract". Not that we are full opposites, but for certain things we really complete each other so well.

Love using dictionary definitions on my layouts, really inspired by Donna Downey after using a full page on one of the project we made in April.

All the buttons lined up.... and my favorite embellishment on the page the American Crafts Felt flower and Vinyl bird & cute small heart.

Busy week at the store: Tomorrow night I have a full class for the "All about me" with the Sassafras Lass products it will be fun! Friday at the store it's ATC night, come and join the fun! Saturday - It's our Garage Day Sale, come and visit and make a deal or 2!

Enjoy your Hump day!

Girl Friday layout #2

I love what Scrapbook and cards today does with their column called: Easy, Detailed, Expert and I thought that I would give it a swing wile designing these 2 layouts for the Scrapbox with the Cosmo Cricket paper line "Girl Friday"!

When I create a layout I always try to form a triangle by placing my elements on the page and have either a horizontal or vertical line to keep your eyes aligned with the picture. If you look at the "Easy" layout bellow, I have the little bug tag with the buttons row and title that creates a triangle and here again with the "Expert" one I have the same triangle with the cluster of elements near the top little butterfly, the little marching bug and combines with part of my title.

For my vertical line I have used the placement of the paper and also the patterns of the papers (it's also another good trick to keep in mind)!

To jazz up the "Expert' one I haded additional layers, extra border punch's and a mix of fun brads! Dig in our stash, Mix it up... and have fun! Loving the brads....

"Easy" layout with the same graphic tips just in a more simple and less dimensional way!

I had lots of fun playing with this paper line and it's just perfect for the nice spring colors!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Once again.... Hugs!!! :)

Inspired by Marlene

If you love flowers, animals.... basically all subjects related to Nature... visit Marlene's blog... her pictures are breathtaking.

I know that it's more than the camera, lenses or Photoshop... it's her "magical" eye! She has the ability to see in the black frame to take the perfect "shot"! Her composition of the elements is balanced and she has amazing luck of finding beautiful subjects or just the perfect timing to have them on her path by example one of her last pics is a flying bubble bee with the tulips... love it!

Yesterday I decided to stop and visit my old neighborhood near Rockcliffe Park to find my favorite flower spots and take a few pics of my own.... Thanks Marlene for inspiring me to stop and take time and enjoy Nature's wonders..... Spring is and will remain my favorite season!

Meeting with Donna, Gilles and the kids!

A beautiful weekend it was!

Even after 4 years since the last time we saw Donna and Gilles, it seams that it was just yesterday..... however they add 3 little ones to introduce! Alyssa, Sarah (fraternal twins) and little Jacques! Cute, adorable sweet kids!

They hade rented a beautiful Log House at the Fiddler Lake Resort. (Magali confirmed that this location was used to film part of the Quebec's reality show "Occupation Double").

Dream location for sure.... We played a bit outside despite the nasty "eating bugs" {quote from the kids}, baked cookies, jumped and draw with our fingers for hours on the suede couch! Catching up with Donna and Gilles was also great!

Sarah was the most adorable little girl. I took a bunch of photos of her when we were outside ( Jacques and Alyssa were taking a needed nap!)

Sunday morning Gilles surprised Donna with some special mother's day shirt that all 3 kids were wearing ~ PRECIOUS!

Last night, I played for the store with the new Cosmo Cricket line "Girl Friday" and Sarah's pictures were perfect for the paper line! A second layout to follow tomorrow.

Have a great Wednesday!
