A new advendure... Creating jewelry!

2 weekends ago I was invited by my dear friend Kataroo to join her and her fabulous sisters to a girl weekend. To the agenda we had different things planned... a visit to the Spa, Raclette for diner and creating necklaces in the evening. Well I wanted to arrive with a little token and offered each a Pink rose pin made with felt. Oh so fun to make and here a picture of the pin I offered.


Then after a few drinks and playing Katies' favorite game (oup's can't remember the name...) we started creating necklaces! Well I started the bellow yellow necklace and a few hours after when putting it all together... it seam that the crimper bead was not solid to my creating and all dropped to the floor. So this passed Friday I finished it at the Scrapbox crop combined with an additional flower made with some fabric given by Linda ~ thanks! Yellow is not in my usual clothes colors but on a black shirt it really rocks!

On Saturday I created the Teal & Green one. Loving all the additional buttons stitched on it. Thanks to Susan for your "blouse" teal round button it was the perfect touch!

This is really a great escape to my usual scrapbooking and helped me to get my juices flowing again! Now I have a few orders to complete for Linda and then I will make some more.

A little birdie told me that the store got a tone of new items today!

On a Scrapping note!

I have a few things on the go (3 layouts of Greedo our Cat that needs embellishments) and a new series of ATC for March that I just need to finalize with stamping on the top.

Etsy - oh Etsy.... ETSY! I have so many ideas and collecting fun stuff to create little mini albums kits with fun fabrics and leather. I need to just have more time than 24 hours in a day to make it happen! It will come at one point soon!

Lately I was working hard on finishing some amazing classes for the store in March and for April that is just around the corner! Will update soon with the Flower Technique class and the Keepsake Album once they are completed!

All About Me & what Makes Me happy!

April marks the full first year of this amazing series that I am teaching at the Scrapbox! What better to stop and scrap about you. For April we are going to touch the subject of WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!

Inspired by Spring and the "Dear Lizzy♥" line by American Craft, I wanted to remember the special things that makes me happy in my day to day... Visually with the photo I used these are 6 of the things that brings a smile to my day, but it's also important to note that also Scrapbooking, listening to good music and finding cool designs and inspiration on the blog world make my day just a little bit more sunny and bright!

Lush album at the Scrapbox!

Instantly inspired by the LUSH line recently received at The Scrapbox, I created this gorgeous and elegant album that features Glimmer Mist (yes some of the new Heidi colors!), Fabric, Hambly Acetate, Doilies and more! Little Andrew

At the crop last weekend I was lucky to play with photos of my friend Heather and scrap her adorable son Andrew. The Making Memories Vintage Findings Baby Kit was so fun to play with and I have at lease 1/2 it left to make probably 2 more layouts! More kits available at the Scrapbox!

Thanks Heather for bringing me the pictures at the crop and I was happy of meeting both of your boys! Hope you like the layouts!

Just a few things added to make my background glimmer mist (Frost, honey dew and English Ivy) and Ranger paint lettuce! Miscellaneous buttons, brads, dew drops and crepe paper.
