Finishing up Layouts

This past weekend I stayed home. Felt really good.... no plans, just time for me. The past months I've been working hard with Super Tornado Tammy to get organized. Doing that I found like 9 layouts that I had started at crops that where never finished because I didn't have either something to do the title.... or that perfect thing left home.

So I managed to finish 5 of them during the weekend! Yeah! So I have a few more to do and projects also that I need to tackle from events that were hosted at the store.

Art Journal Class series 2.0 at the Scrapbox!

We had such a great demand to start a new group and here's what's going to be made during the first class. If you wondered what Art Journaling was all about, this is the class for you! This is a series of 3 classes, starting on August 10th. Learn TONS of techniques that you can use on any scrapbooking page, or mixed media project and have fun doing it.

All About Me August - My siblings

Here's the next installment of the very popular All About Me Series! I was so happy to be reunited with my brother and sister during my 2 weeks vacations... we took many pictures and we had allot of wonderful family time all 3 together reunited!

We will be using Basic Grey papers from both the Lauderdale & Out of Print and Glimmer Mists, Glam and Pewter Crackle paints to create our backgrounds and also Copic Markers to give a dash of color to Rhinestones!

Geneviève (She) & Pat (He) painting

Today I surprised my Colleague Geneviève with this painting as a wedding gift. She is getting married this Saturday and since the past month I was secretly playing "20 questions" asking her all the details of her dress and what her Mr. man was going to wear. They are going 50' style, very unconventional as they are both wearing black, but totally charming and ohhhh so matches their personalities! This was my first try at making the "She paintings" from Christy and loved it! Planing many gifts for other friends now! (The only sad part now.... is that since the last details were provided, her future hubby decided to shave his Go-T for the weeding.... ahhh well!)

The special part of her wedding "Fascinator" is jewelry of her grand-mother that past away last year, beautiful feathers and Black and Hot Pink lace.

Can't wait to see her wedding photos when she comes back!
