Double page layout and cards with the Heidi Swapp Runway collection!

Here is my latest projects completed with the fabulous line "Runway" from Heidi Swapp for my DT work for the Scrapbox. Love... the colors... so DIVA! What great pictures to compliment the paper line and the turquoise and pink is really a fresh combo to use!

I wanted to complete the flower and have it pop on the page... I used Stickles and Cristal Effects on it and now the flower is perfect!

A few cards made with the scraps of my papers and NEW resolution to do it each time after a layout if completed! I will have in one locations all my supplies to add rub-ons or other thing to add on my cards and this will push me to do cards!

Ottawa's Tulips!

A few photo's of our great w-end!
Allot of activities and places visited... good food and great company!
Benjo and Maya (my brother's dog and my cat) were really the perfect pair; almost the same size following one and other and just having a great time!
We went to the Glebe garage sale, the "Works" for diner (first time experience and took forever to select the perfect hamburger!), watched 3 movies, went to see the last tulips, the ducks near Bank street, drove to see the fabulous houses in Rockcliffe area... and just enjoy the moment! I was really great to have the visit of my little brother and his girlfriend!

So happy to have different pictures to scrap... yeah!!!
Have a great week and will update soon with projects!
Hugs

A great long w-end!

Allot of driving involved! We went after work Friday to Montreal for the w-end. Saturday we helped my best friend Magali and husband Maxime moving to their new house. Watched "P.S. I love" you up to 1 am... Ohhh so good movie and yes the box of Kleenex was almost empty at the end of the movie.... Sunday went to a flee market grabbed a few old books and then went to 4 different Canadian Tire to find something in sale... didn't get it and then went to visit Stephane's parents for diner. Yesterday hoped to the States for the day... Watertown, Ogensburg, Massena and Malone... Trust me I made my point clear next time it will be only Watertown and Syracuse.... for all the driving we made for the last 3 stops, nothing was found to add Stephane's Star Wars collection... a little bit disappointing! Tonight I'm stopping at the Scrapbox to prep a few classes and to try to finish 2 cards that I started - will be able to post them tomorrow!

This week it's clean-up week, my brother and his g-friends are visiting with their dog this w-end. And supposedly the dog eats everything he finds, so I need to pack up my scrapbook supplies if I do want to lose it! I will try to finish a few things also to be able to post them up!

Enjoy the rest of the week!
Hugs and take care!

Pure innocence...

I wanted to scrap little girl pictures... to go with the sweet "Sugared" line of basic Grey. Thanks to Katie I was able to scrap her darling little Kayleigh! I was again stuck for the title... and I almost didn't put any thing, until I saw these lovely Making Memories tiny alphas! Just perfect to complete the layout... not to big in size and they left the focus to the other elements of the project! Ohhhh... and also used some fibers to complement the lace!

This is the best way I found to stitch buttons... use a few glue dots to attache your button to the layout(do not obstruct the holes), then select the color of tread that you wish to use and cut a longer piece of it. Start with the first button from the back of your layout and stitch it. Then skip a few buttons and then use the same tread always attached to the first button and do the second one selected. If you done with that color of tread, secure with clear tape. Repeat the same steps with a different color of tread until buttons are all completed! ~ I hope this makes sense...

Tomorrow I will post my DT layouts that were made for the Scrapbox!

A great w-end!

What a lovely w-end!
Friday night went all over the city and to Gatineau for some shopping and in the evening prepared a class for the Scrapbox that will be given on 2 separate nights and make sure to come back later this week to view the project... so fun to play with the Prima printables!

Saturday went to Wendover to take pictures of sheep and little lambs... really great pictures to scrap! Then stopped @ the Scrapbox to bring back my projects and then went back home to relax and organize some of my scrapbook supplies!

Sunday I had the pleasure of having a great chat with my sister in Italy and then went to a Mother's day mini-crop with Katie in Barhaven. I almost have completed one layout with the Basic Grey line - Sugared... oh so love the colors! And will finish it tonight and also put the finishing touches on a double layout with the same line.

No pictures today, but will make sure to post my projects of the w-end tomorrow!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Stéphanie

Picture Perfect!

I'm really loving the pinks colors currently! It's probably the effects of spring or I just want to be a girly-girl! I used again some great products on this one, the corrugated cardboard is the sleeve of a Starbucks Coffee, Genna gave me a little challenge last Friday night! I was struggling to find a title (like always) and and a set of Basic Grey rub-ones and ohhhh my they are the best to apply! I also used once again some Heidi Swapp products that are really finicky to apply... her fuzz-ones. But once on the page they were really not the perfect shade of pink, so I used a dabber and different tones of ink to change a color! Now it looks just perfect... Picture Perfect!

NSD- weekend!

I had a great w-end! A full w-end of socializing and scrapbooking!
Friday enjoyed a delicious diner at Katie's... chicken ad shrimps on the BBQ with a side salad!!!! Mmmmmmmmm thanks Ryan you are a great cook! Then Katie and me went to A Fine Mess to crop for the evening... started a page, chatted and just enjoyed the moment, then went back to sleep @ Katie's.

The following day we had a private crop @ the Scrapbox with all our closest friends the ya.ya's and the ladybugs - missing in action Rach, Tanya and Tracy, we missed you girls!!!! Again not much productive, but had lots of fun! I had Mell as a sleepover guest and we left the crop around 10h30pm to snuggle and watch Enchanted! 50 minutes in, we were falling a sleep... so we decided to call it a night! The following morning we slept in a little bit and then joined our monthly group @ the Blackburn crop! Back home around 5 and Stephane arrived just a few minutes after me from is boys w-end at the hunting camp!

This is part of a project we did for Katie (the other 4 ya.ya's) to given to her as a shower/we missed you at Navcan and love you project. We all chosen a picture of Katie and did a small 6x6 and mounted all 4 on a card stock and presented it to her at the Scrapbox crop. this is my 6 x 6 of her and my hidden journaling tells her why I associate the word Wisdom to her. Love you Katie and Thanks for the great w-end spent with you and your 2 lovely girls! A special hug to Kayleigh!

Have a great week and hugs!

To anwser Krista...

I only buy one scrapbooking kit a month and it's the Jenni Bowlin main kit, LOVE IT!!! Sometimes I buy the add-on kit depending what it is and I also shop on her on-line store. A Fine Mess in Barhaven use to have some of her products, but I'm not sure what Genna has left.... call them, or make a online order, I was never hit with customes and shipping is not to expensive! Love her BINGO cards and her die cut papers!

Almost Friday!

Here's a layout that I finished on Monday night...however the colors are much more bright IRL!!! I really had fun playing with the water drops(not sure of the name...), the sequins and a mix of all my favorite papers BG, Senic Route, MME and Making Memories!
So perfect for spring!
Enjoy!
